Kentucky On Stage: Catch a Preview of Touring Artists
The Kentucky Arts Council’s fourth Kentucky On Stage will be held September 4, 2002 at the Kentucky Center for the Arts in Louisville. This year’s fantastic line-up of over 20 artists and ensembles will showcase contemporary, traditional and classical music as well as dance, theatre, storytelling and even magic!

Scheduled the day before the Kentucky Institute for Arts Participation, presenters are invited to participate in a day of great performances, networking and the chance to book artists for their upcoming and future seasons. Artists included in the 2002-2003 Performing Arts On Tour Directory will also be exhibiting in the Kentucky Center for the Arts lobby. The event also provides an opportunity for presenters to learn more about the Kentucky Arts Council’s Performing Arts On Tour grants, which subsidize fees for bringing artists into local communities.

The short performances will also be open to the general public without admission charge. They will begin around 2:00 PM and each sample will last approximately fifteen minutes. Artists performing in Kentucky On Stage 2002 include:
