Sign Up Now to Keep Informed
The Arts Council has developed a new database over the past two years
to make our communications infrastructure more efficient. The new database
has the capacity to identify our constituents' interests in many more
ways and in very specific groups for targeted mailings or electronic communications.
You May Get Mail From Us, But Is It the Right Mail?
If you are receiving notices in the mail that the Blue Moon is available
online, you are on our master communications list. However, because we
have never asked for some of this specific information, chance are we
don't know where your interests in the arts are, if you are an artist,
or what art disciplines you may be involved in. Opportunities frequently
come up specifically for artists, educators, organizations, community
groups, etc. and we want to be sure that we get the word out to the right
people and yet not miss anyone.
Snail Mail vs. Electronic Mail
It's actually not an either or thing. The Arts Council will continue to
use regular mail service for correspondence as long as it is practical,
safe and timely. However, if you would like to receive notices and communications
by e-mail now or in the future you must indicate your current correct
e-mail address.
Here Is Where Your Help is Needed.
Fill out the online Communications
Questionnaire or call the Arts Council Offices at 1-888-833-2787 for
a paper copy to fill out and return to us. Even if you know you are on
the list and think that all the information is correct, you may want to
update it to make sure that all the information is complete and accurate.
Do You Know of Other People That Have an Interest in the Arts
in Kentucky?
Pass this information on to them and encourage them to sign up. Our mission
is that Kentuckians value and participate in the arts and our purpose
is to develop and promote support for the arts in Kentucky. Help us meet
our mission and our mandate.
