However, there are many issues that do not fall under the jurisdiction of state government or the governor's office. As a state government official, Governor Fletcher does not have jurisdiction over federal agencies like Social Security, Veteran's Affairs or Immigration. Issues regarding a federal agency or federal legislation can be addressed by a representative of the federal government.
