Governor Fletcher inducted the 2005 Eastern Kentucky University
Governor's Scholars into the Governor's Scholars Program Alumni
Association on Friday, July 29, encouraging Kentucky's best
and brightest to keep learning, keep exploring, and keep discovering.

1. Governor Fletcher congratulates the 340
graduates of the Governor's Scholars Program on the EKU campus
and challenges them to continue pursuing new academic
horizons. Listening beside him are Joanne Glasser, President
of EKU, William S. Street, Chairman of the Governor's Scholars
Program Board of Directors, and Sherleen Sisney, Executive
Director of Governor's Scholars.

2. At the recommendation of Governor
Fletcher, Governor's Scholars rise to applaud the parents,
family, and friends who supported them on their educational
journey. The closing ceremony took place in the Brock
Auditorium on EKU's campus.
