Hazard High School
Visit
Governor Fletcher visited Hazard High School on Wednesday, September
21, to congratulate school officials and students for exceeding
their CATS testing improvement goal by 11 points. The school
received the 10th highest test score of all high schools in
the state.

scores of the high school students.

School freshman with her algebra problem. All freshmen,
sophomores, and juniors at Hazard High School receive a laptop
to use while they are students.

 3. Governor Fletcher joins Hazard High School
band director Pauletta Smith as she listens to the opening
number of the Band of Gold's 2005 Field Show. The band has
placed in the top five of their class at the state competition
for the past five years.

Superintendant Sandy Johnson while taking a tour of the
school.

portfolio class at Hazard High School and listens as students
read their work. Joining Governor Fletcher are Deputy
Secretary Mardi Montgomery and Representative Brandon
Smith.
