Frankfort, KY: Today Governor Ernie Fletcher announced reorganization in his executive team designed to help revitalize Kentucky.
 
Current Chief of Staff and long-time Fletcher aide, Daniel Groves, will move to the newly created position of Senior Advisor to the Governor. His focus will be long-term strategic planning and message development to help Governor Fletcher move the Commonwealth of Kentucky forward.

"Daniel's expertise in policy development and political strategy is a tremendous asset.  In his new role, Daniel's focus will be to planning and implementation of legislative and policy priorities that will be of tremendous benefit to all of Kentucky."

Groves has served as Chief of Staff since Governor Fletcher took office last December. Previously, Groves managed Fletcher's successful campaigns for Governor and Congress and served with Congressman Fletcher in Washington, DC as Chief of Staff.
