Frankfort, KY: Visitors to Kentucky's State Capitol on May 1 will enjoy a variety of entertainment options at the 2004 Derby Breakfast hosted by Governor and Mrs. Fletcher. This year's event marks a return to the traditional Derby day celebrations of the past, which have been hosted by Kentucky governors for more than three decades.
 
From traditional Bluegrass music to folk dancing and clogging, there is entertainment to appeal to everyone's taste. Performances will be held on two stages: the Capitol Stage, which is located at the base of the stairs leading to the front entrance of the Capitol building; and the Governor's Stage, which is adjacent to the breakfast tent. In addition to performances on the two stages, the barbershop quartet Chords of Course will be strolling around the grounds throughout the morning to provide entertainment to breakfast guests. 
 
Access to the festivities is easy. Parking will be available at the CHR Complex, 275 E. Main St. A free bus shuttle service will operate between CHR, the Kentucky History Center, and the Capitol. Hours are 6:30 a.m. to noon. Handicap parking will be available in the parking lot just west of the Capitol.
