Marion City Councilman Fred Brown Appointed to Crittenden County Judge Executive

Frankfort, KY: Governor Ernie Fletcher has announced today the appointment of Fred Brown to the position of Crittenden County Judge Executive. Fred Brown, of Marion, KY, will take office on Friday, April 30, 2004 at 12:01 p.m. CT following the resignation of Judge Victor "Pippi” Hardin. Fred Brown will be up for election in November.

Fred Brown and is a retired Crittenden County native who currently sits on the Marion City Council and has had involvement in a number of civic organizations. Mr. Brown is currently a member of the Crittenden County Lions Club, the Citizens Foster Child Review Board and the American Legion.
