Robert (Bob) Ramsey to Serve as Fletcher/Pence Administration Director of the Department for Personnel

Frankfort, KY: Governor Ernie Fletcher announced today that Bob Ramsey will serve as Director of the Department for Personnel. Ramsey is the former Executive Vice President of Community Venture Corporation (CVC) and has worked for the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government since 1996.

"I am proud to serve this administration to help put into place the finest organization possible,” stated Bob Ramsey. "Governor Fletcher has already put together an excellent staff and I look forward to working with them and using my talents and experience to move this great state forward.”

During Ramsey's time with the community-based, non-profit CVC, his primary focus was to improve the quality of life for urban and rural residents throughout central and northern Kentucky. CVC's central mission is to provide individuals and families with the skills, income, and assets they need to achieve financial independence. Ramsey is a graduate of Florida A & M University in 1971 and received his masters in management from Webster University in 1986.
