Mason County Native Andrew McNeill Named Governor Fletcher's Director of Legislative Policy

Frankfort, KY: Governor Ernie Fletcher announced today that Mason county native Andrew McNeill has been selected as the Fletcher/Pence administration's Director of Legislative Policy. McNeill has previously served as the Senior Policy Advisor for the Fletcher for Governor Campaign since June 2003.

"Governor Fletcher laid out a comprehensive and progressive vision for change in Kentucky during his campaign,” stated Andrew McNeill. "I am deeply honored to be a part of the top-notch team he has assembled to implement that vision.”

Andrew McNeill graduated from Mason County High School in 1991 and Centre College in 1995, where he attained a Bachelor's of Arts in History and Government.  Afterwards, McNeill began pursing a graduate degree from the Martin School of Public Policy and Administration at the University of Kentucky before taking the position of Senior Policy Advisor for the Fletcher for Governor Campaign.  He plans to complete the degree while working for Governor Fletcher. Andrew McNeill is married to his wife Ashley and they have recently been blessed with the birth of their first daughter. They reside in Lexington.
