Frankfort, KY: Governor Ernie Fletcher has directed that all flags be lowered to half-staff at state building across the Commonwealth from Friday morning, March 18 through Saturday, March 19, in memory of Kentucky National Guard Spc. Glenn Stanfill of Hazard. Spc. Stanfill lost his life last Friday when a convoy of three Humvees and two buses were traveling from Hazard to an Artemus training facility and the Humvee driven by 43-year old Spc. Stanfill was struck by a coal truck traveling in the opposite direction. The Governor and his administration join family of Spc. Glenn Stanfill in mourning the untimely death of this outstanding public servant.
