JUDITH CLARK (born 1817, 13th First Lady) was the daughter of Governor James Clark and his first wife. Judith’s mother, Susan Forsythe Clark, died in 1825. Clark’s second wife died just as he was elected governor. Judith Clark acted as the hostess in the Governor’s Mansion until the death of Governor Clark in 1839.
