Education Pays. It’s Governor Patton’s new plan to emphasize the importance of education to the people of Kentucky. And it’s more than just a slogan -- it’s a way of life.

Whether you’re just entering school for the first time, getting your GED, applying for college, or going back to school to increase your earning potential, having an education will pay off for you. And as our society depends more and more on technical research and intellectual muscle, education will be the best way Kentuckians can stay ahead of the curve.

That’s the idea behind Governor Patton’s Education Pays plan. He wants people across the state and across the country to know it pays to have a good education in Kentucky. And many Kentucky companies and organizations agree. So they’ve teamed up with Governor Patton to get the message out: a good education does pay for the citizens of Kentucky.

"Unless people understand that an education is the way to get a good job and provide for a good quality of life, they won’t take advantage of these opportunities.

With constant exposure to a consistent message, we can convince people that Education Pays."
