promoting the state as a travel destination

Tourism is Kentucky’s 3rd largest revenue-producing industry and its 2nd largest employer

Tourism contributes $906.4 million to state and local taxes

Over 160,000 Kentuckians are employed
in tourism related jobs.

Kentucky was the 1st state in the nation to pass legislation providing tax credit incentives for major tourism development.
