Media information for Governor’s Derby Breakfast 

FRANKFORT, KY. -- The Governor’s Derby Breakfast is fast approaching, and plans are underway for media coverage of the event, which starts at 7 a.m. and goes to noon on Saturday, May 4 at the old State Capitol grounds located in downtown Frankfort. 

Credentials for reporters and photographers will be available from members of the Governor’s Communications Office who will be stationed in the parking lot of the Federal Building located off Clinton Street. This lot is designated for media parking, too. 

Please let the Communications Office know in advance who will be coming. Please include the name of your organization and the names of the individuals who will be attending the Breakfast. 

Parking will be available for the general public downtown and at the Human Resources Cabinet parking lot. Shuttle buses will run from this parking area to the Derby Breakfast from 6:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
