Gov. Paul Patton and others listened to Clark County Magistrate Rick Smith during Gov. Patton's visit to Winchester on October 3.  At left in the photo is State Sen. R.J. Palmer II of Winchester; and at right is Clark County Deputy Judge/Executive Liz Miller.  Gov. Patton came to Winchester to meet with local leaders and to present them with two checks: one for $75,000 to develop an interpretive area and trail at the site of a Civil War fort at Boonesboro; and another check for $200,000 for improvements to the Lower Harrods Creek Nature and Heritage Preserve.
