Gov. Paul Patton spoke with Falmouth Mayor Gene Flaugher, left, and Pendleton County Judge/Executive Henry Bertram during the Governor's visit to Falmouth on September 12.  Behind them is historic Kennett Tavern on Main Street in Falmouth, a 200-year-old structure which recently was renovated with Renaissance Kentucky funds.  Gov. Patton was in Falmouth to distribute more than $1.1 million to the city and Pendleton County for rural waterline installation, streetscape projects, county park improvements and economic development initiatives.  Falmouth and Pendleton County have been recovering from a devastating flood in March 1997.
