GOVERNOR PRESENTS OVER $16-MILLION IN COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT GRANTS
Frankfort, Ky. - Governor Paul Patton today handed out checks totaling more than $16-million to 27 local governments for various community development projects. The money will go for projects such as housing, water and sewer lines, and community centers.
Governor Patton said, "Whether it’s to provide safe drinking water, new sewer lines, affordable housing, or a community center, these grants add to the improved quality of life for our citizens that is the primary goal of this administration. I’m pleased to be able to help fund these worthwhile projects through the Community Development Block Grant program."
