HEALTH CARE, HOMELAND SECURITY,
ISSUES IN BOISE 

Governor Patton Available on Satellite Feeds for Sunday, July 14 and Monday, July 15

The nation’s governors will tackle some of the most pressing public policy challenges facing the country—including attaining long-term economic prosperity, bolstering homeland security measures, and containing prescription drug costs—during the National Governors Association’s (NGA) 94th Annual Meeting, July 13-16 in Boise, Idaho. Governors will hear from some of the country’s foremost experts on these issues. 

Highlights of Cisco CEO John Chamber’s remarks to governors, which will focus on using the Internet and technology to improve education, the workforce, and the overall economy, will be on Sunday’s feed. Remarks by U.S. Secretary of Energy Spencer Abraham and other speakers will be on Monday’s feed.
