The
Governor's Executive Summit on Homeland Security is being held Wednesday,
November 20, 2002 at the Executive Inn in Owensboro, Kentucky beginning at 8:30
a.m. (CST).
The summit is designed for state and local government officials across
Kentucky related to homeland security, including police, fire, public health,
transportation and emergency management.
Featuring
a keynote address by Nancy Wong, Deputy Director of the Federal Critical
Infrastructure Assurance Office in the U.S. Department of Commerce, the summit
also includes:
§ Overview
of Commonwealth of Kentucky and Federal initiatives related to homeland security
§ Breakout
Sessions include:

Physical Security Preparedness

Information Security & Cyber-Terrorism

Public Health Emergency Preparedness

will hold their annual conference on "Assessing the Implications of

Note:
Media interviews for the Governor's Executive Summit on Homeland Security will
take place at 9:45 a.m. (CST) on November 20 in the Illinois Room of the
Executive Inn. All media will need
to check in at the conference registration desk to show media ID and to receive
credentials for the conference.
