Governor and First Lady light up the season

             FRANKFORT, Ky. (December 1, 2003) - Governor Paul Patton and First Lady Judi Patton will light the State Holiday Tree during ceremonies tonight on the steps of the Kentucky State Capitol.  Governor-elect and Mrs. Ernie Fletcher also will attend.  The program begins at 6:30 p.m. 

    This annual, colorful event will feature music from local performers and holiday greetings from the governor and first lady.  Free refreshments will be available.

                The Frankfort Jaycees Christmas Parade will follow the tree lighting at 7 p.m.
