Covington, Kentucky-(October 3, 2003)- The long awaited Barnes Pike Interchange will be officially opened on Tuesday, October 7, 2003. Governor Paul Patton will lead the ribbon cutting ceremony scheduled to begin at noon. A stage will be located near the northbound I-75 on-ramp. There will be ample parking along the ramp.
Along with Governor Patton, others attending the dedication will be Kentucky Transportation Cabinet Deputy Secretary Cliff Linkes, former Kentucky Transportation Secretary Dr. Floyd Poore, District 61 Representative Royce Adams, Grant County Judge Executive Darrell Link and Williamstown Mayor Glenn Caldwell.
In case of inclement weather the ceremony will be moved to the Williamstown High School gymnasium.
